Introduced in 2017, the Chevrolet Camaro GT4.R is the successor to the Chevrolet Z/28.R, built in compliance to the international GT4 class regulations. Appearance wise, it is based on the Camaro ZL1 1LE. However, instead of 1LE's LT4 6.2-litre supercharged V8, the GT4.R is powered by a naturally aspirated LT1 6.2-litre V8 found on the Camaro SS. It also features an Xtrac six-speed sequential gearbox, limited-slip differential, and two-way adjustable Öhlins dampers. The Camaro GT4.R is built by Pratt & Miller, who's also responsible for the construction of the Chevrolet Corvette GTLM racers participating in Weathertech Sportscar Championship.
