The Chevrolet Camaro SSX Track Car Concept was unveiled at the 2010 SEMA Show. The stock 6.2-litre LS3 V8 was upgraded with a new camshaft, cylinder heads and dry-sump lubrication. A six-speed Tremec gearbox was fitted, alongside a twin-disc Corvette ZR1 clutch. The bonnet and front fenders are constructed from carbon fibre, as are the chin spoiler and adjustable rear wing. The interior has been stripped of trimmings and features a roll cage, race harnesses and a fire suppression system[1].
