The Citroën Saxo VTS S1600 was developed by Citroën Sport for the Super 1600 rally car category. It is powered by a 1,587cc 4-cylinder engine producing 240 bhp at 8,500 rpm, which drives the front wheels through a Sadev 6-speed sequential transmission. The car was notably drivem by a young Sébastien Loeb, who would win five of the six rounds of the 2001 Junior World Rally Championship behind the wheel of a S1600 Saxo.[1]
