Designed and engineered by Mpart AB (Ralliart Sweden), the Mitsubishi Mirage R5 (named in selected regions as Space Star) is the result of their development. Built to comply with the FIA's R5 regulations, the Mirage's powertrain consists of a 1,620cc version of the 4B11T engine found from the Lancer Evolution X which produces about 280 bhp and 450 Nm of torque, a Sadev 5-speed sequential manual gearbox, a permanent four-wheel-drive system, and a mechanical differential on both front and rear with AP coupling.
Since its debut in 2015, the Mirage R5 has 10 wins and 23 podiums in regional and national rally events all around the world.
