The Mk II Ford Escort is a cheap, basic, agile little car and a favourite amongst rally drivers. Ken Block even has his own version.
The McRae Motorsport Escort Mk 2 was built by DJM Motorsport for Colin McRae[1]. It differed from the standard specification in having independent rear suspension compared to the conventional live rear axle. Most of the original metalwork has gone, instead replaced with carbon-fibre body panels and a spaceframe chassis.
