The M-Sport-prepared Ford Fiesta R5 was revealed in June of 2013. As an R5-class car, it is a 1,600cc four wheel drive turbocharged rally car; parts across the class are standardised, and cars are cost-capped at £160,000[1]. An upgrade package was made available from January 1st 2016, increasing engine performance by 32 bhp and 56 Nm. Updated components included the cylinder head, pistons, inlet and exhaust cam, and exhaust manifold. A new clutch/flywheel was also provided[2].
