As Pat Doran moved from stage rally to rallycross, Ford supplied him with a Ford RS200 to compete in. Nicknamed "Rosie", the car took him to a British Rallycross Grand Prix victory[1].

Doran and Rosie would go on to achieve 2nd place in the 1992 European Rallycross Championship, but as Group B cars were outlawed from European rallycross competition in 1993 the car was put into retirement. Doran and the RS200 returned to the British Rallycross Championship in 2001, and won overall in 2002, before retiring the aging Ford again in 2005. Rosie would return to British Rallycross in 2008 with Pat's son Liam at the wheel, and once again in 2009 for the British Rallycross GP at Croft (this time, helmed by Ollie O'Donovan).

Following a refurbishment for a Group B rallycross demonstration at the 2014 World RX of Great Britain (in which it was resprayed in its original Q8 Oils livery)[2], the car burst into flame. Doran, who was driving the car in the demonstration, was unharmed[3]. Doran entered the RS200 in the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed, but lost control and extensively damaged the car against hay bales[4]; the damage was repaired overnight and Doran was able to return to the festival the next day[5].
