The Gymkhana Academy is an event in DiRT 3 in which the player learns the skills for upcoming Gymkhana events. Ken Block is the coach for these tutorials located at Battersea Compound, London.

Smash Tutorial[]
The Smash Tutorial is the first tutorial at the Gymkhana Academy. It teaches how to smash the so-called Smash Gates which are yellow destructible pylon blocks.
Jump Tutorial[]
The Jump Tutorial is the second tutorial at the Gymkhana Academy. It teaches how to take jumps at maximum heights to get the biggest score.
Drift Tutorial[]
The Drift Tutorial is the third tutorial at the Gymkhana Academy. It teaches how to slide your car through the drift gates, that is by going fast and sharp angle to get the maximum points.
Spin Tutorial[]
The Spin Tutorial is the fourth tutorial at the Gymkhana Academy. It teaches how to spin your car in the spin zones.
Donut Tutorial[]
The Donut Tutorial is the fifth and final tutorial at the Gymkhana Academy. It teaches how to drift your car around the donut poles, as the name says.
Academy Final[]
The Academy Final is the final event of Gymkhana Academy. This event pits you against seven other competitors at Monaco in a real Gymkhana event to test your skills after going through all the tutorials. Finish in the top 3 to advance to season 2.
