Colin McRae Rally and DiRT Wiki

A single Super Production specification Mitsubishi L200 Pick-Up was entered in the 2005 Dakar Rally by Mitsubishi Motors Repsol ATS Studios Team. Driven by Andrea Mayer, the car primarily acted as a support vehicle for the team's four Pajero/Montero Evolutions.

Following a 10th-place finish in the 2004 Rally of Morocco in the same car, Mayer was unfortunately forced to retire the L200 from the 2005 Dakar due to mechanical problems.

The L200 is powered by a 4.0-litre 24-valve 6-cylinder MIVEC engine, with a 6-speed Xtrac gearbox. It uses a permanent four wheel drive system, which consists of a mechanical centre differential and self-locking front and rear differentials.[1][2]

Colin McRae: DiRT[]

“The Mitsubishi Triton is underpowered and heavy, more of a support car than a podium finisher. It's not entirely reliable, and it's one of the new faces on the block. Still, it's a Mitsubishi, so it's not going to let you down. It's got what it takes to compete, but it won't be easy.”
Travis Pastrana, Colin McRae DiRT

The Mitsubishi L200 Triton is a Rally Raid T1 vehicle in Colin McRae: DiRT.
