The Peugeot 208 R5 was unveiled at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. Development was overseen by Bertrand Vallat, who was also project leader on the 207 S2000 (which the 208 replaces). As an R5 rally car, it features a 1,600cc turbocharged engine, four wheel drive, and a five-speed sequential gearbox[1].
