Following a partial and a full season in World Rallycross Championship from 2014 to 2015 respectively in Audi S3 Supercars, All-Inkl.com Münnich Motorsport have switched to a pair of privately-developed SEAT Ibiza RX Supercar for their 2016 World RX campaign. Münnich Motorsport have also signed the then Olsbergs MSE driver Reinis Nitišs to partner with the team owner René Münnich[1]. Nitišs will eventually leave the team following round eight in France, citing unfavourable results and a need to focus on his plans for 2017, with any further development of the Ibiza would carry on without him[2]. The car will receive several upgrades along the way between 2017 and 2019, including new aerodynamics and a front-mounted cooling systems.

Despite Münnich Motorsport's decision to wind down their World RX campaign, the Ibiza RX still made some wildcard appearances in World RX and Americas Rallycross, and embarked on a full European Rallycross Championship throughout 2017 and 2018. In 2019, Münnich Motorsport would eventually participate in a full World RX season by fielding one car for two-time DTM champion Timo Scheider, who also raced for Münnich Motorsport in previous World RX events as a wildcard driver.
