Developed by JRM Racing with Subaru Tecnica International (STI), the NR4 Subaru WRX STI is a rally car built for WRC, ERC 2, BRC 2 and regional production class championships. It features a 5-speed dog gear kit by Hewland, an Öhlins 3-way adjustable dampers, a FIA Premier regulated 80-litre bag tank, a Motec ECU and display screen, a set of AP Racing brakes, a FIA approved roll cage, a hydraulic handbrake and an interior designed by Sparco.
In 2015, the NR4 Subaru WRX STI driven by 8-times Rally America champion David Higgins, won the production class at the 2015 Wales Rally GB by more than five minutes, production and finished 20th overall, beating a plenty of competitors in R5 cars.
